You and Me
A poem

Delicate tendrils dangle before me.
Viewed through my looking glasses.
A gentle jittering in its springs,
silver, transparent and prismatic
in the high-noon sun.
Lineage shines red in strands
that grew from roots,
deeply planted.
Multi-faceted in it’s fibre optics,
seemly solid in it’s wavy fluidity.
