After seeing the great amount of books, courses, coaches, and even medium posts on the topic of self-help, I wanted to see if there was another view on it, a different take. As it turns out, all isn’t so good with the self-help industry, and in this article, I’ll review the greatest articles I found in the topic. I read all of them so you don’t have to, and here you will find a summary of it digested. I hope this will help you in critically assessing the self-help industry and that it will invite further engagement and criticality with the industry. Perhaps one day we will see posts concerned with real help, or at least we are attempting to demonstrate the other side of the coin. So keep reading to learn more about the good and not so good of the self-help industry, and hopefully, it will inspire you towards being critical with things that we are being bombarded with in a daily basis and that to be honest are difficult to differentiate whether they are helpful or mere babbling.
