Here in the Home of the Free and Land of the Brave, courts of “justice” and your local police departments have worked together to confiscate anything and everything you own for simply existing.

This is called “Civil Forfeiture,” the police version of your dad getting pissed off about your practicing your clarinet and taking it away from you without warning, then wanting payment to give it back if he can even find it.
