I turned 40 a couple of months ago.

In my mind, I turned 30 quite recently. But it’s been 10 years 😅

Whenever my friends asked me for advice or thoughts about being in their 30s, I realized it was mostly advice to my 30-year-old self.

I feel your 30s are for building whether it’s your business, your craft, your skills, or yourself.

A lot can happen in 10 years. You can live a whole lifetime in a decade. Don’t waste it — build.

If you’re turning 30 or currently in your 30s, I hope you can benefit from the pieces of advice I am going to share.

Start building an audience

I only started cultivating an audience when I was in my late 30s. I think when I was around 36 years old.

If you’re in your early 30s, I would say, start building an audience now.

Invest in your personal brand. Grow your email list. Put yourself out there.

Don’t shy away from strong opinions. Be okay with being wrong, and getting called out. Say thank you and move on.

Aim to become the best at what you do
