#1- The Raw Deal (your passion) + Pinpointed Commitment Can Catapult You to The Life of Your Dreams

Passion coupled with momentum is a lethal combination.

And where does momentum come from?

Momentum comes from consistency.

Raw passion can very seldom achieve anything by its own.

But team it up with bits of consistency over a long-term tenure and

Voila!

You have built a volume that will propel you when your motivation dips.

#2- In the beginning, it happens by taking baby steps every day.

Just keep showing up even if you do not feel like it.

Keep logging in those repetitions.

Slowly, bit by bit a trajectory will begin to appear.

Growth is very seldom linear.

There will be a natural trajectory of valleys and peaks.

Growth follows a natural rhythm of crests and troughs.

But there need not be dips if you do not get derailed and keep putting in those repetitions.

It will lead you from strength to strength if you choose to stick with your long-term vision and keep showing up.

The guy that goes to the gym and starts with a mere 10 kgs weight but is committed will outdo the guy who starts with the weight lifting capacity of 50 kgs. But is irregular.

#3) Regularity builds on the component of consistency.

Consistency builds the greatest force in the world of a compounding momentum.

Imagine a boulder being poked with a stick from the top of a hill.

It will be very difficult to move it initially due to its mass of inertia.

As you keep digging in your heels and keep poking, you will begin to see it rolling.

What happens when it begins to roll?

Initially, the speed will not be something that you would be happy with.

#4) What happens to the boulder when it keeps rolling down

As it rolls further down, the slope of the hill becomes slanted in favour of its motion.

The favourable slope is akin to the conducive circumstances that will appear in your trajectory all because you chose to resist the initial inertia.

You put in those reps. Diligently.

A time will come when all your efforts will crystallise as rapid compounding momentum of a lot of followers and likes. Or people talking about your talent. Word spreading about it like wildfire.

Sometimes it takes years or decades to arrive on a single morning.

Do not wait to start till you ‘feel like,’ writing or working out or speaking or whatever it is that you want to build a critical mass in.

Your body of work will receive the appreciation you craved.

Start small but keep showing up everyday.

The recognition that you craved from the people that did not acknowledge you in the beginning will beckon your door.

They will be eager to start conversation with you. Invite you on their podcasts.

To see such brilliant outcomes, you must have the conviction in your abilities and keep showing up daily.

It’s that simple. But not easy.

#5 A Quick Recap:

- You must believe in yourself

  • You must not seek external validation. So that you remain true to your vision.

- You must put in the repetitions

- You must not lose heart if things are slow at first
