Choose to Manifest Greatness

“What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.” -Gautama Buddha

Our Thoughts Have the Power to Create.

At one time, everything in this world only existed as a thought in someone’s mind. None of the things that we now hold to be “essential” in our everyday lives would have ever existed if someone had not thought them up as ideas first. They fixated on their idea long enough and believed in it hard enough, that eventually, they had no choice but to take action in an effort to create it.

Not all thoughts manifest into actions, but the ones we fixate on with enough repetition, duration, and emotion always do.

In other words, a thought created, and dwelled upon enough, must lead to an equivalent action.

“Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you follow this chain: thought → determines action → determines habit → determines character → determines destiny. Then you see how important it is to choose your thoughts wisely. They are the seeds that give birth to all other things in life. Without thought, there can be no creation.

Unfortunately, most of us are going along completely unaware of our thoughts most of the time. When we live this way, we are letting life dictate what we think and feel.

Some people assume when they are not consciously thinking something, that they are thinking nothing at all… but this is not true. Our subconscious is always reacting to stimuli. If it is not busy reacting to the stimuli you are intentionally giving it (the thoughts and phrases that you choose), then it is busy reacting to your external environment without your awareness and without your control.

MAN’S mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed-seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.” — James Allen
