How it works

You can choose to sign up however you want, but I chose to sign up through Google.
Once you’ve created an account, go ahead and click on the ‘create’ button to make your first video.
Then you will see a screen like the screenshot below. Here, you can enter a prompt to generate a script. I wrote: ‘Did you know trees can communicate?’ But you can write anything you want. Then click on the ‘Generate Script’ button. Once you’re happy, click on ‘Next.’
The next toggle is called ‘Image styling’. Here, you can choose a style for the images that will display in your videos. I chose Pixel art in the example. Once you’re happy, click on ‘Next.’
The next screen is the voice library. Here, you can choose which voice will narrate your videos. They have both male and female voices. Choose one and click on ‘Next’.
Now we are in the captions section. Here, you can choose the font for your videos and how they will appear in the video.
They have multiple options you can choose from, and you can even change the colors to fit your brand. Once you’re happy, you can click on the ‘Next’ button.
The next toggle is the editing section. Here, you can decide which generated images you want in your videos. You can reorder them, edit them, or even delete an image if you don’t like it. To do this, click on ‘Change Photo’.
In this section, you can edit your prompt to generate a new image or even upload an image of your own. (Note: Regenerating an image will cost you credits. More on this later in the article).
Once an image is done generating, you can either clear it or save it.
By then, you should have created your first video successfully.
Templates
ShortX also allows you to create videos using their templates. To test this out, navigate to the templates section.
Once you’re there, click on one of the available options to create your video.
In the prompt box, you can add your script or generate a new one to create your video.
