Are you ready to step up your game in life and make the changes you’ve always wanted to? While it’s not easy, making those changes is possible with the right mindset and the right tools! We have created this list of 5 life-changing books YOU MUST READ in 2022, as an easy way to get started! Make sure to leave your comments at the end! And don’t forget to share with your friends and family!

1. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is for anyone who gives a f*ck about living an awesome life. The book is full of insights into how to stop worrying about what you don’t have, and instead focus on what you want most in life. Manson writes with brutal honesty and humor — as only he can — and his voice is as sharp and incisive as ever. In addition to being entertaining, eye-opening, and funny as hell, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is downright life changing.

Mark shares his own story from clinical depression to building an international following through one simple idea: we have to stop trying to be positive all the time or attempting to deny or push away all our negative emotions. We need to accept them, understand them, and move forward anyway. As Mark says, Positivity is for losers.

This is not just another self-help book; it’s a self-help guide that will actually help you. It’s like having your own personal therapist right there with you, guiding you every step of the way.

2. Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari

Sapiens is a great read for anyone who wants to learn about mankind and how we came to be where we are today. Harari discusses not only what makes us human, but also why we chose agriculture and religion, as well as why some societies fail while others succeed.

This book offers plenty of historical insight on what it means to be human, and may change your perspective on society. If you’re interested in learning more about history or our society, give Sapiens a read! For anyone who is interested in deep history, present day politics and a glimpse into what the future might look like, Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari is a must read. One of our most influential sociologists and anthropologists analyzes humanity’s past, present and possible future to determine how we as humans have ended up where we are today.

The book also gives you a fresh perspective on how humans became so powerful both within society and on a global scale. Not only does Harari give an insightful view of history from it’s roots to its existence today, but he does so with a unique writing style that keeps your eyes glued to every word.

3. What Is Real? by Philip Ball

Science is about to answer one of humanity’s oldest questions. Are we living in a simulation? This book offers a startling and provocative argument for why it just might be true. A well-written, quick read that will open your mind. Recommended by Stanislaw Obirek.

I totally agree with him on his opinion of what he described as the most important book you can ever read. If I had to pick five books from my library to bring with me if I were stranded on an island, What Is Real? would definitely make my list.

A great read! Great arguments put forth in simple terms that make you think more deeply about what it means to exist and how we are defined by our perception (or lack thereof) of reality. Definitely worth reading! By Jack Hillman via Amazon Reviews.

4. Collapse by Jared Diamond

Collapse is a nonfiction book that covers some of humanity’s most devastating collapses, while putting them into context with examples of success. The stories are told through history and include natural disasters and wars, but also modern-day problems like deforestation, soil erosion, overfishing, and climate change.

Collapse is arguably one of author Jared Diamond’s most popular works since it was published in 2005 — and for good reason: It provides practical lessons on how to avert disaster as we strive toward a more sustainable future. As we enter a new decade, now is an excellent time to take stock of our current situation and learn from others who have experienced similar situations before us. This book will help you do just that.

5. Thrive by Arianna Huffington

Thrive offers readers a road map for building lives that are not only meaningful but also prosperous, interweaving practical ideas, insightful self-assessments, and enriching wisdom into a six-week program for finding better balance.

Building on decades of experience as an entrepreneur and Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist, Arianna reflects on how our current culture of overwork and hyperconnection is stressing us out, making us unhealthy — and even shaping who we are. The result? We’re losing ourselves to burnout and dysfunction, missing out on our most important relationships (with family and friends), sacrificing sleep time that could be devoted to health and happiness, overlooking what really matters.

But there is hope. Drawing on her own experiences and those of others, Arianna provides concrete strategies for breaking free from busyness and embracing a new way of living.

She shows us how to do less so that we can achieve more; how to connect with others more deeply; how to set boundaries so that work doesn’t crowd out everything else; and ultimately, how to live life more fully. This book will change your life!
