Most first dates can be filled with tension, nervousness, and unpredictable expectations; sometimes, the feeling can be intense and filled with excitement; getting to meet someone you like for the first time comes with a good feeling.

You want to impress your date and pave the way for a second one. It is like the opportunity you get once to create an impression (good and unforgettable) that will cause your date to beg you for a second one that could lead to a long-lasting, happy relationship.

Here are my best tips for you to help you accomplish this:

1. A perfect location

Suppose you are a guy and have been honored to choose the location on your first date. In that case, select a cozy environment where you and your partner can feel comfortable conversing. I’ll suggest a cafe or a park-like environment. Also, while choosing a cozy climate, choose a quiet place and avoid places that are over crowded.

2. Be Attentive

We are in a digital era, where we can easily get distracted and lose focus on the things that matter. If you are on a first date, avoid distractions such as phones, tabs, or electronic devices that may distract you and cause your partner to feel less important or disrespected.

Ensure you keep eye contact and avoid looking at the time or device for notifications, which may also cause your partner to lose interest.

3. Be mindful of your utterances

Avoid saying anything that will give your partner the impression that you are a proud fellow; also, show simple acts of kindness like holding out the door, saying "please" and "Thank you," and also, be kind to the waitress/ waiter. As a lady, avoid any superior character to avoid making your partner uncomfortable and creating a wrong impression about you.

4. Show your personality

This is basically what will determine the possibility of a second date. Be honest and transparent as possible. Showcase your good character well enough because that is what all first dates are about. To impress your partner. Allow your personality to shine bright.

5. Leave them with lasting and craving memories

Spark a lot of interest, make them beg you for another date. Remember what they say about "the art of leaving some mystery"?

Ensure that you create good impressions about yourself. Also, remember to be grateful; thank them for making the time to meet you, and ask your partner if they had a great time. Even though you badly want to see your partner again, do not be too forward about it; you can tell them you had a great time and would love to experience such a moment again. This will avoid the wrong impression of you putting pressure on them.

Takeaway

First dates are the only time you can impress your partner and create a good impression of yourself by following the tips I have listed above.

Remember to have fun!

Good luck!!!
