A Year Writing in Medium: My Experience
Written articles and earnings after a year of writing in Medium
A year ago, I started to write seriously on Medium. Previously, I was a member and I had written a couple of articles, but it was in November 2022 when I started to create articles periodically. This past year has been a whirlwind of learning, growth, and surprises, both in terms of the stories I’ve had the privilege to tell and the financial gains that have accompanied them.
Below, I’ll share a month-by-month breakdown of the articles I wrote and my earnings. This financial facet provides a tangible glimpse into the rewards that anybody can earn if you dedicate time and you are consistent.
Month-by-month articles
I have written only 1 article before November 2022, but this month I started to take writing seriously. While I had written 2 articles before November 2022, I have written 97 articles now, and it’s increase little by little.
Below, I show a graph with the articles I wrote in function of the month since November 2022. I started to write a lot up to April 2023 (with a maximum of 25 articles in January 2023), when I decided to write one article each week.
