April 22 Is Earth Day

We can all make a difference

The first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970. The previous 150 years after the industrial revolution was beginning to take its toll on the United States and the health of its citizens. Inefficient cars burned leaded gasoline, and according to earthday.org, “air pollution was commonly accepted as the smell of prosperity.”
