Is it too late to teach an old dog new tricks?

First of all — You are not a dog, (unless you identify yourself as one — then live your best life)

But this statement was said to me when I was trying to figure out why I found it harder to take risks now, then I was in my 20s.

It didn’t offend me because I didn’t think like a dog, but it did make me realize how the belief of ageism, or those ‘known’ statements keep making its way into our society, and it gets reinforced because we choose to believe it to be true.

I assume your reading this because you’re not where you want to be in life.
