You are driving along when somebody cuts you off. “Danger! Danger! Danger!”, shouts your amygdala. You get angry. You grab your handgun and “Bang”.

You learn meditation in a quiet room with no distractions, however, the best time to practice meditation is when you are stressed.
The object of meditation is not to eliminate emotions. If you learn meditation, you can learn to observe your anger, then let it go.
