My first public speaking experience in high school was a disaster. My voice trembled, my mind went blank, and I practically mumbled my way through the presentation, wishing the floor would swallow me whole.

But over time, through a combination of experience, self-discovery, and a healthy dose of trial and error, I’ve learned to navigate the world of public speaking with greater confidence and (dare I say) even enjoyment. Here’s what I’ve discovered on this journey:

5. Embrace imperfection: Everyone makes mistakes. Don’t dwell on minor stumbles or unexpected moments. Take them in stride, maintain your composure, and continue your presentation with confidence.
