I recently came across a post on Medium.

The title was something about how much the author earned the previous month.

It was a 2-minute read article but I immediately just scrolled to the screenshot of his earnings.

It was $1,170.

“Cool. He must be doing something right because it’s not easy to earn this much on Medium.”

So, I skimmed through his post.

I’m not going to lie — my first impression was that his grammar was bad. It was obvious that English isn’t his first language.

I went through his other posts and noticed the bad grammar again. I’m not writing this post to offend him (I’m not even mentioning his name).

Despite this bad observation, I admire what he’s putting out there.

To be fair to him, I know he was providing value by creating genuine content. You can hear his voice as you read his article. He was sharing his unique journey and experiences so that others could learn from him.

The genuineness of his articles is not something AI could generate for him.

You gotta start somewhere
