Heroes don capes that bear auras of victory and magnificence. But what if the villain wore the hero’s cape instead?

Humanity is readily arranging it’s own execution.

It is society’s modus operandi to shun those who repudiate their ideologies of a “better world”.

One is labeled a pariah for declaring the raw and ugly truths about society, whereas those who empower society’s crimes and draw a veil over the truth are glorified as heroes and caregivers.

These “heroes” are the same people who connivingly expedited free speech.
Why?
So that the world would drown in chaos while it thought it was thrashing through the waves to find peace.

Free speech is a disaster in disguise.

This course of action eventually escalated to extreme latitude in speaking one’s mind.

Argumentations that began with dissimilar opinions soon morphed into feral debates that concluded with damaging or fruitless outcomes.
Pertinent opinions were twisted into asinine disputes just so people could have something to be offended about.

In the end, we were teetering on the edges of a cycle of disarray.

The movement which started as an aid
for those who desperately needed their cries to be heard,
has turned into a stage for blatant banter by the ignorant.

It is a pitiful and dispiriting sight.
Dilemmas that require dire attention are wholly ignored,
while humanity is busy pitting themselves against one another.

We’re living in an era where we’re sharpening the blades for our own execution without even realizing it.

But why would someone want war over peace?
To bring meaning to the devil’s existence.

Peace has become such a foreign and uncommon term,
while war has trumped the vocabulary of many nations.
War feeds the immortal hunger of mortal beings.
The immortal hunger for power and pride
at the expense of innocent lives.

Why does one feel the might of a titan when they sin and feel the weight of the world when they realize their crimes?

Sins are poisonous, but euphoric.
They elate us while consuming us.
They make us feel like we have the cosmos in the palm of our hands,
while they’re just blackholes
sucking the life out of us,
atom by atom.

And when they do leave us bare,
that is when our mortality comes crashing down on us.

Although, there are those who revel in the aroma of injustice.
They have no end, no blackhole.
For their entire beings have been consumed
by sins that are higher than mountains
and deeper than oceans,
until
they solely believe in the delusion of being immune to death and consequence.

So what does one do when they are left bare?
They feast on pandemonium
to feed the insatiable hunger
of the devils within them.
