Does spending quality time with kids feel boring? Well, it's exhausting most of the time. But why not do something more engaging, fun, and unique?

Being a working mom of a 7-year-old, now I am going to suggest to you some unique ideas which will be fantastic for your kids’ mental and physical growth. Also, your kids are going to wait for those times a lot like mine.

Whether you are a working or stay-at-home parent, spending these types of quality time is a must for your kids.

1. Write a Family Book.

You and your kids can write a family book together. Add bios, funny character traits, expectations, dreams, and achievements of your family members. You can write comic book type of stories as well and make illustrations. Add rhymes and poetries too.

Write it on your computer or in a jumbo-size scrapbook. Divide chapters among you and your kids. Don’t forget to print the hard copy.

Benefits:

Playfully, your kids are going to improve their writing skills. They will achieve clarity of thought and tremendous confidence in any kind of writing competition.

2. Schedule Stupid Time.

Keep some time every day to be stupid. Make sure your kids can say anything stupid happened in their life during this time. Let them say things about their school, teachers, and friends. Allow them to make fake stories.

Don’t forget to share your stories too, when you’ve felt really stupid. Listen carefully and guide the conversation freely. Laugh a lot and kiss them.
