During Ramadan, there is a wave of happiness and peace everywhere in the world. Muslim families attend Mehfil e Naat, prayers together. They offer Taraweeh prayers ( Salat-al-tarawih) together daily after Isha prayer in Ramadan. Every Muslim seems busy in prayers, reciting Holy Quran, helping needy people. They do all this only for God. They have the spirit to help others, do well. Their faith becomes stronger in the month of Ramadan. They divide meals, other essential things among needy people. The month of Ramadan gives a lesson of peace, love, brotherhood, charity, patience, gratification. Muslims give sadqa to needy poor people in the month of Ramadan.
"Sadqa extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire." ( Hadith, Tirmidhi )
The night of power also exists in the last odd nights of Ramadan. The existence of Laylatul Qadr ( The night of power ) is unknown. On this night Allah shows mercy on his creation. On the night of Laylatul Qadr Holy Quran revealed to Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be upon him).
