Once you’ve started writing on Medium, you’ll have a collection of stories that you can earn money from by duplicating them on other platforms. There are a number of other blogging sites that pay for reads, and I’m going to take a look at some of the most popular.

Vocal Media

Have you come across Vocal Media? It’s one of the easiest platforms to get started writing online. The payment rates per read are lower than Medium, but, unlike Medium, you’re paid for all views.

Also, they offer bonuses for reaching milestones on your publishing journey, which all add up.

You get bonuses for publishing a certain number of stories. I’ve received quite a lot of bonuses:

• $5 for publishing my first five stories;
• $10 for ten stories;
• $25 for the 25th story;
• $50 for the 50th!
• After that, the bonuses just for publishing stopped.

I also earned $5 for being chosen as a ‘Top Story’ twice and $5 for being chosen for their social media distribution. These things all add up.
