Most often prominent politicians, eminent judges, bureaucrats, businessmen, artists, the academic community, and commoners turn to God when there is no other way to come out of a tragedy in their life.
The maxim says," Experience is the best teacher." Most often the 'big' people of society have less faith in the power of God than the commoners of society.
But going through personal or professional tragedies in life, some of them seek God's intervention in their life. Few of them experience God's power in their lives to lead a life of testimony in the future.
Mother Teresa puts it this way," I am nothing; I am but an instrument, a tiny pencil in the hands of the Lord with which he writes what he likes. However imperfect we are, he writes beautifully."
In simple words, it means to surrender your wealth, health, position, relationships, human faculties, and your whole being before the almighty and become like a two-year-old child who completely depends on his parents for everything. The state of total surrender means that you consider yourself as 'zero' before the almighty.
How does God want you to live in this world? Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, and give up your sins— even those you do in secret.
Then you won't be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless. Your troubles will go away like water beneath a bridge, and your darkest night will be brighter than noon.
