When you’re trying to explore the depths of your mind, are you actually focused? Or are you just ticking an item off your checklist?
You need to allow yourself to get in “the zone”, and that means eliminating everything else that serves no purpose in achieving that goal. That means, turning off your phone or putting it on silent, that means you should go to a place where you won’t be easily distracted, and that means your mind should be on only one task: how can I be more creative?
