Scence: #poetrybysaba walks confidently onto the small round circle stage. She looks up at the intimate crowd placed in a well lit, ballroom style room, with high carved ceilings covered in beautiful calligraphy. Her eyes smile as she recognizes

She says…

At Al-Aqsa the Prophets stood

Praying for all we know as good

For their people and their lands

To Allah they raised their hands

A blessed space Al-Aqsa rest

Its sanctity is indeed a test

For mankind to see which way

Their heads would bow, their hearts would sway

Oh Yaa Rabb, I promise thee

Like would a man, placed on one knee

For better or for worse,

A lover’s desired curse

Til death due us part,

Give me not a coward’s heart

In sickness and in health

To Al-Aqsa I give myself
