“What a lovely surprise to finally discover how unlonely being alone can be.”

— Ellen Burstyn.

In solitude, he found his solace,
In the crowded world, he felt apart,
He tried so hard to escape its grasp,
Yet in time, he had grown on its design.

Books, a refuge, where friendships start,
Between the pages, story unfold,
Where characters in the story, his precious world,
With every word, his heart would melt.

Others sought for laughter, and cheers,
He, find his comfort, far and near,
Within a book, he found his chance,
In every chapter, he’d find his kin.

Yet, his heart yearned for human touch,
On someone, who’d understand as much,
He dreamt of a friendship, person to be told,
He’d wander through adventures, time and space.

His mind, an open book, were tales untold,
He found solace, and felt complete,
books are more than they seem,
There truly friends, a cherished dream.
