Seduction has multiple meanings, but if I try to explain it in simple words, it includes any actions or practices that will arouse the interest of the other person for a short duration of time. It does not ensure long-term commitment, trust building, or honesty because the person wants the only thing they lack and nothing else.

Seduction may be a one-time attraction, and therefore, nobody will like to spend more time ensuring long-term efforts than one-time efforts. It’s basically when you attract someone in less time, not immediately though.

There is a story of a famous character, “CASANOVA,” an Italian adventurer, author, and nobleman. He was known for seducing women and having too many lovers. There is a viral incident. Once, he went to a bar and saw a beautiful actress. Still, he did not talk to her immediately; he read about her, he researched and found that she is a very talented and beautiful actress, no doubt, but the only flaw is that she could not pronounce the letter “R” very well. He took three days and wrote a script with no letter “R” “He went to the same bar where she used to come, handed over the screenplay, and said there was no need to change yourself, no surgery, nothing. I am just trying to show you that you are flawless; you are perfect.

If he had said, “Go get surgery; when you are perfect, I will come to you,” this may have ruined the scene.

To summarize, when someone is not initially attracted to another person or only has a minor interest in them, but then develops a liking for them because they are fulfilling the other person’s desires or needs, it is considered seduction.

It may not be wrong if I say that it’s manipulating or influencing the person because you want something from them in which your interest lies.
