The Blackened Earth
Primordial flame of Life, hope springs
forth in you, as light eternal for all of
humanity, luminosity to light thy way —
Frothy Seas of green and blue, bathe us in
waves of hopefulness, and assuage us in our
saddened loneliness, woe be unto humankind —
Wondrous incandescent Moon, illumine the
kindness innate to ontology and ignite hope for
all of humanity, as you shine your lustrous light in
the dark-indigo night —
Blessed be the richness of the blackened Earth, to
till the soil in firmament. And envelope these
hallowed days around all of humankind
— in hope.
