For almost 30 years now, I’ve been an urban bicycle rider. I pretty much go everywhere on the bike. Over bridges to Brooklyn, Queens and even New Jersey? Not a problem. Here I chronicle an early fall adventure when I both bicycled and hiked at the very tip of northern Manhattan Island.
