Intro

In the Summer of 2016, my wife and I joined her family on a week-long trip to Northern Ireland. My wife’s aunt had an opportunity to teach at the University of Ulster in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. As such, our family had an opportunity as well in that we got to join her and explore Northern Ireland. Many often overlook Northern Ireland in favor of the Republic of Ireland or the other countries that lie within the United Kingdom. However, I believe that Northern Ireland is worth a trip. Healing from the Troubles of the 1960s-90s, Northern Ireland is a place rich in history, culture, and beauty. Our trip occurred well before I had any experience as a traveler, let alone experience as a travel agent, but our trip to Northern Ireland unleashed a long-held desire to see our world. Consisting of 5 key days, we created this guide in hopes to inspire travelers to take a trip to Northern Ireland.
