When people think of Brazil, thoughts of the Amazon rainforest or the Rio Carnival come to mind, but have you ever heard of Caipirinha? This cocktail is the national drink of Brazil and is loved by many locals and tourists alike. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re definitely missing out! In this blog post, we will discuss what Caipirinha is, how it’s made, and why it’s such a popular beverage in Brazil.

Caipirinha is a simple cocktail made with only three ingredients, starting with cachaça, sugar, and lime. First, it is important to note that cachaça is a liquor that is made from sugar cane juice. Make sure you pronounce it right and not the way I originally did (it is not Ka Chaka). It’s pronounced more like (Ka Sasha). You can learn more about this particular liquor here:
