I thought I’d start off with a funny one. You’ve probably never heard of this one before and basically what they do is translate Emoji strings into comprehensible language. Yes this is a thing. There’s even an article on CNBC about a guy who makes a living doing this. Not only do they make a living, but they actually make pretty good money. On average, Emoji Translators make $61,000 a year. Really! The pros of this one are it’s flexible, it can definitely be fun, and it’s a field with growing demand. The cons of this one are it’s highly niche, so it may not be around forever, and there’s a lot of risk of misinterpretation.
