Illumineto Spark: Public Preview now available

Today, with giddy school girl excitement, we have released the Public Preview of Illumineto Spark. So what’s that mean? It means that we now consider Spark feature complete and ready for the market! To celebrate, we are making the product 100% free to use. No credit cards, nada. We want to see you using it in your daily sales efforts. Oh, and this release has a ton of new things in it including support for Google Drive, Salesforce and more (see more below).

Here is a quick (and incomplete) list of what’s new:

1. New: Teams
This alone is worth the price of admission. As the name implies, Teams allows a group of people to share both Spark Pages and Sources. We’re seeing incredible value in this capability alone. And it is 100% inspired by a company that was in our private beta, so many thanks to ImageSource in Olympia, Washington for this awesome idea.

2. Improved: Search
We have significantly improved our indexing and search capabilities. Put simply, search is much, much better. What’s more, Spark now reacts to changes you make in any of your cloud storage sources in real-time. This means if you add, delete or update any files, Spark will know about it and reflect these changes in your next search for content. Speaking of sources…

3. New: Google Drive, Salesforce.com
Google Drive is added to our existing support for Dropbox, YouTube and website searching. And for your Salesforce users out there, we now support Salesforce Document Libraries too!

4. Improved: New Page Setup
We have improved our new page wizard to better assist in the creation of Spark Pages.

5. Fixes & Improvements
Over 150 general enhancements and fixes are also in this new release.
