What if prospecting was something you no longer dreaded?!

I hate prospecting. I hate getting the list of prospective leads from marketing that I know aren’t really “qualified” as they believe they are. I hate being told by my manager that I have to “hit” a minimum of a dozen leads a week.

And you know what really peeves me? That I have to enter each and every one of them into our CRM system.

Wouldn’t life be so much easier if marketing was able to provide a list of individuals who really were hungry and wanted to learn more?

Well, you and I both know that that isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

So, it ends up with you picking up the phone or emailing an inquiry to the lead, which at times, turns into an exploratory mission — a process that we’ve all been through a thousand times before and a thousand times in the future.

That first initial lead list that you got from marketing? It ranges somewhere between a dozen or hundreds of people, right?

At Illumineto, we have a few inside sales reps who are using Spark as a newsletter to their list of leads until they could follow-up with them when they have more time (it’s always about the time we have, isn’t it).

To free up their time, Spark lets each lead to be entered into your CRM and each contact, as they interact with your Spark page (be it a newsletter or engagement page) is automatically updated into the CRM, not only freeing up your time but also showing your managers that you are on top of it.

Pretty cool, huh?

It just doesn’t have to be a newsletter, but, you get the idea of (or already know) what Spark is capable of.

I built a page to give you an idea of what a newsletter could look like here.

A partial newsletter

Don’t think there’s a boundary for what you can do with Spark. We have users always surprising us, from wedding planners pitching venues and bands, to colleges using Spark for fundraising, and we even have a user using it to apply for jobs (this one is interesting, she is placing her video’s, CV, and projects she’s worked on in a page to pitch herself).

Prospecting is more than just sending out emails hoping to get a bite — it’s about building a relationship, keeping prospects and customers informed on what’s happening with you and your product/service, and closing deals.

And what’s more, with Spark, prospecting could never be easier — freeing up precious time so you can sell more.

Good luck selling!!!
