Gary Vaynerchuk is a business tycoon. A tycoon that wants to spread his knowledge and advice to young people around the world. Vaynerchuk, more well known as @GaryVee on social media, has been an avid leader and speaker for millennials, and many others, entering the business world. Vaynerchuk, born in the former USSR, came over to the United States with his family through the Soviet Jewish exchange program. Truly living the American dream, Gary is an immigrant and a successful entrepreneur. An avid investor into social media, Gary has invested in Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Birchbox. Now, he owns VaynerRSE, which is a $25 million investment fund, and runs VaynerMedia, which is a world renowned digital agency (www.garyvaynerchuk.com).

Why do millennials need GaryVee?

Gary Vaynerchuk — “Nobody Gives a F**k About Your Feelings, Bro”

Because he is blunt. Gary never beats around the bush with anything. He tells people what he thinks and has no shame in it. In one of his most viral speeches, Gary speaks to a young man looking to jump into the now legal cannabis business in Colorado. The young man in the crowd asks after explaining that he lives in Houston, where cannabis is illegal, “What if I want to begin to study cannabis?” Gary responds, “Then move to f***ing Denver, b**ch. F**k Houston.” The young man responds, “But why do I have to move to Denver?” Gary responds sharply, “Because that is the current law!” Gary explained then that he had his own altercation with Texas when he was running his wine business and they were trying to keep him from succeeding in the state. He then said, “Nobody gives a f**k about your feelings, bro,” then proceeding to explain that the kid needs to adjust to the situation around him.

“Nobody gives a f**k about your feelings, bro.” -Gary Vaynerchuk

Being a millennial, I know that we need to be told straight up. We have to hear the truth, and we cannot be catered if we have to learn. The reason he swears isn’t because Gary is immature or unprofessional, its because Gary knows that in order to get his message across, he must have an emphasis young people can attach to. Gary encourages young people to be young, and enjoy the best years of their lives. He encourages young entrepreneurs to adventure and work for their success. Most importantly, Gary encourages us millennials to not be afraid of FAILURE.

“Most of you are not scared to fail for yourself, you’re scared to fail and then somebody else that you care about is judging you.” -Gary Vaynerchuk

Gary encourages us, millennials, to step out of our comfort zone and not be afraid of failing. Failure is normal, and that is something that we, as millennials, must realize. Gary tells audiences at his speeches that he is excited to fail, because we learn from failure. Gary continues to inspire people and keeps on giving knowledge for a better tomorrow.
