The Asparagus Post

I posted on my Facebook page that we would turn temporarily into asparagus if we went outside tonight. This was something that seemed to confuse a lot of people who saw the post. I had some friends commenting, asking why I was saying this. I think it is fair to say that almost everyone reading this did not believe it for themselves. The post itself got eight likes and two laughs so far, so I think a good amount of people were amused by it. There were two comments. One person asked “Why is this?” and the other was “Why would I turn into an asparagus?” I think they were interested in where I would get an idea like this. When I posted a follow-up explaining the previous post, someone commented that they would like to know what life as asparagus would be like. I would say overall this was a pretty entertaining experience and I think it was entertaining for everyone else as well.
