Social Media presence: Coca Cola

I chose to look at Coca Cola’s social media presence because I enjoy they’re

beverages but realized I hadn’t really seen much of they’re social media.
I specifically looked to see if what they posted on each platform was consistent or not. also if they linked they’re different social media accounts to eachother. I also looked at if they responded to comments on posts and how they treated people if they did.

at a glance looking at Coca Cola’s various social media accounts including facebook, twitter, youtube, and snapchat the media on each seemed mostly consistent. they posted the same video commercials on each and then varied on the other media based on the platform. for example on facebook pictures of people drinking coca cola are posted while on twitter current event posts are included.
the different social media pages didn’t link they’re others but they were all listed on their website.
I looked at the comments section of their Facebook page and the page did respond to peoples comments, including complaints or questions about specific products and they responded respectfully to such complaints

the main tone they use on social media is the message of “share a coke” and the most recent post is about “there’s a coke for everyone” that promotes including everyone

so they attempt to stay engaged with their audience and stay on good terms to promote their product
