Imbue Network / SubQuery

Another week, another initiative to prepare decentralized crowdfunding for mass adoption.

During the crowdfunding process, there are a lot of factors that decide the performance of any given project. Data points like total contributions, vote portions on milestones or Contributor sentiment are all examples of KPIs that would be helpful for the community to have. While machines are very good at interpreting 1s and 0s, the majority of humans are better suited for interpreting data visually.

We’re ecstatic to announce that SubQuery is working with us to build a solution that will provide valuable metrics and visualize the data for anyone in the community to see.

For those who may not be familiar with SubQuery or data indexing in general, here is a quick overview:

  • Raw data are messy; it’s difficult to decipher actionable value from them.
  • Indexing (much like the index of a book) categorizes data and makes it easier to query insights.
  • Data indexing and the movement of data through tools like APIs allow for the applications we use every day to function.
  • There is an insane amount of data running through blockchains every second. Indexing this data for powering Web3 applications is simple, but impractical without a reliable solution.

Enter SubQuery. SubQuery is an open-source toolkit for developers that forms the foundation for the Web3 data infrastructure. They are facilitating an open web3 data revolution to help developers build the next generation of decentralized applications.

This partnership will no doubt bring significant advantages to our decentralized crowdfunding platform. Contributors and Initiators alike will have the ability to view a range of helpful metrics that will help them make more informed decisions with regards to projects.

Imbuers, as we progress in the technical buildout of this initiative, we will keep you posted. Now back to building!

About SubQuery Network

SubQuery’s mission is to help others create products that allow us to move to a decentralised future faster. SubQuery is a blockchain developer toolkit and the backbone of web3 infrastructure. A SubQuery project is a complete API to organise and query data from chains. Operating between layer-1 blockchains and decentralised apps (dApp), SubQuery is an open-source indexer organising and serving well-structured data over GraphQL. SubQuery powers the next generation of dApps and tools with web3 data

Currently, anyone can already use SubQuery to extract and query blockchain data in only minutes and at no cost but in a centralised way. The SubQuery Network proposes to enable this same scalable and performant solution, but in a completely decentralised way.
