We have officially entered crunch time for senior projects! The past number of weeks had been abysmal for progress on thesis, but last week I finally got my act together again. The work on finalizing Monsters and Mayhem is now underway, and with no time left to spare!

Anthony has been doing excellent work creating a consistent art style for the game, and drawing the artworks for all of the cards, the board, and symbols that are used. The two of us played through the game a couple times, and have put together our last minute changes to the rules and balance of the game to make everything as streamlined and understandable as possible.

From there, I created the final version of our rules booklet, Gathered the materials necessary to create the final versions of everything else, and have begun work on coding the digital aspect of the game. As of right now, the code is a simple loop that alternates between the two players’ turns, as well as a page that asks what tile the person landed on, after they move. This page has buttons for each tile, and will relay relevant information on the page for how to move forward. I am aiming to have the entire logic loop done by the end of this week, then working with adding our database of card effects will be the next big task.
