This past week was time to hustle up and start making up for lost time. Mike and I have been playing catch-up since before spring break due to weather, vacations, and unforeseen setbacks. This week was our chance to finally get back on track, and yet somehow we go into 4/4/18 still slightly off schedule. Red-adjusting the location of the flippe buttons has been a nightmare, and the plinko turnstyle centerpiece is also not finished. Thankfully, the shooter is secured and functional. The largest hold up at the moment is the physical electronics. We have not yet finalized any of these pieces due to some error in the circuitry. This is a result of the engineered solution to registering the ball contacting the bumpers. Since the contact with the separate pieces of copper wire is so intermittent, extra time must be devoted to working out the kinks in the system. Fortunately it appears that toward the end of this week we will have them all secured and hopefully functional. If this can be achieved, the next 3 weeks will be entirely devoted to the projection mapping. This should be ample time, however if the first ⅔ of this semester are of any note, we will need to make sure we are well ahead of schedule moving forward.
