Weekly Reflection Apr 10–17

I was success in editing the first two phases of my project last week. The goal now is to finish the editing and finish the last two phases. It’s been a very different process thus far because the movie is split into four different genres so transiting between each one has been a bit of a challenge, but once I get it to transition smoothly it’s very cool because while you watching a drama film all of a sudden a thriller film breaks and you didn’t even realize it. This past week those were the two phases that I was editing, drama and thriller. blending the colors and music is the key to a perfect transition. It’s important that you don’t just cut right into the audio or the color, but it’s important for the editor to slowly fade out one while the next is slowly fading in and then you’ll see a nice and smooth transition.
