Fallstreak Proposal

Fallstreak: Canvas of Socotrine is a visual novel in development that takes places in an original fabricated universe with a unique culture and history. In regards to the plot of the story, Fallstreak: Canvas of Socotrine will take place in the fictional land of Socotrine, a place whose borders are surrounded by an unnavigable wall of mist. Fallstreak follows after Adelise Cotard, a young girl that enters a timeless ‘golden world’ when she falls asleep. The main driving force of the narrative is how her dreams are related to the Fire of Collapse, a mysterious disaster ten years ago in which prismatic fire fell from the sky, and how it connects with her ultimate goal: escape from the closed world of Socotrine.

It is a visual novel that draws influences from titles such as The Witch’s House, Nier Gestalt & Replicant, Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Sekien no Inganock -What a Beautiful People, and The House in Fata Morgana.
In terms of visuals, Fallstreak attempts to express a theme of interplay between the fantastic and real. As for music, it attempts to capture the main character’s emotions through a primarily solo piano Original Soundtrack.
