Fire World
The conclusion to Doctor Marrymen.
I wish to get this to you before midnight. Old habits die hard.
I also wish to narrate this entire book for you tomorrow. That’s my goal.
At least for today you can read the final chapters and take a look at the Tarot cards I illustrated today, and how they relate to the story.
I am most proud of these pages. I believe Dr. Marrymen to be my finest work. It brought me to tears today, and I won’t spoil it for you. Please find the pages below, followed by the Tarot card illustrations.
I took chances with the illustrations tonight, especially with the Two of Wands. I went in without pencil and sketched all the detail with permanent pen. No going back. I couldn’t be happier with the result.
Thank you for reading.

Typewritten Pages from Today
The following pages are one take, no page repeats or retakes, with the exception of one page, which happened today, on my son’s seventh birthday. I started page 94 with a quote from the Bible (1 Corinthians) that just didn’t translate exactly the way I wished, and so what you see is a revised version of another translation I found of the same phrase, which happens to include the word love, so I chose that one.
Once I realized I wished to use the revised quote, I took the page out and started a new one.
All in all this was a 26 page writing day, plus two illustrations of the Tarot. Making it a most productive day.
Tomorrow I plan on narrating the whole book for you.
