A man won’t feed his enemy
He only has his ends
His place or situation
Makes you his enemy or friend.

A man himself is not his role
His purpose are his wards
His function and his mission plain
Are you in league or not?

A man will love you once
Until you’re dead to him
What you get is what he sees
A man is not your friend.

A man does not believe
In your belief in him
He does not need your spoken faith
Nor speaks faith in himself.

A man believes in what is his
And keeps his cares like books
A man has laws like seasons
And sees where others look.

A man will alter course like water
And yields not to the wind
A man stands like a tree
And falls like one uprent.
