Week 1 Affordable Accelerator @ Impact Hub Austin

It’s been an exhausting week already at Blue Zero Homes.

We have been heads-down focused on incorporating additional intellectual property into our new 3G home designs.

We are also looking at additional specialized materials for our home technologies and designs. While our “green” homes use non-toxic and sustainable materials we have seen a global trend towards even high-efficiency homes that need even more specialized materials. centered around natural construction chemicals.

While the materials we use today are fire, water, mold and termite proof (used in walls and roofing) and can withstand a category 3 hurricane, we are looking at materials that bend more than the average built home, which leads to withstand severe weather even more.

The question we are working to answer: How should we defining affordability. Not just in the U.S. but anywhere in the world?
