LOGO LAND

DIVA-LICIOUS BRANDS LABEL

Two years ago, I started DIVA-LICOUS BRANDS, a healthy, diabetes-friendly, flavor-packed, culturally-based food products business, and began planning the creation of our DIVA-LICIOUS! Restau-Market franchises. Writing the business plan, perfecting our pitch and investment deck and presenting our pitch and deck to investors was much easier than trying to design a logo and a product label for our company.

The problem is that we’ve created something totally new on the market. Our Company’s focus is on producing a diabetes-friendly and a vegetarian-based food product line. It’s an important part of our marketing plan to have the words “diabetes-friendly” as a large, and easily identifiable part of our logo and product label to make purchasing decisions much easier for our customers. We also want consumers to know that our products are nutritious and vegetarian.

Then there’s the bright red color that we’ve always used as part of our catering company, type fonts, styling, identifying symbols (ours has been a spoon for decades), and on and on.

Finally, we decided to use a font that is similar to the one on my diabetes cookbook, the international symbol for vegetarian products (a V with a leaf), and incorporate green leaves on either side of a large, red, upright spoon that looks like it’s growing upward. The final touch is a bold, gold “diabetes-friendly” banner at the base of the spoon.

This is probably the first of many versions of this logo and label that we’ll use as we continue to develop and operate our new Company. One thing that I know for sure, our logo and label will always contain bold design elements that tell the story of our journey to becoming Diva-Licious Brands.
