Beautiful image of danzantes celebrating in our open space.

Our first event, Before the Borders, was a wonderful success. We had many cultural organizations, artists, healers, and performers stop by to share their work with young people from the community. Youth have always been a priority in our work at Red Salmon Arts. We hope to be a positive influence for them by providing programming that emphasizes cultural knowledge and pride in their brown identities.

This event was led by Tejana artist Maribel Falcón, who wanted to get indigenous youth together for a free event where they can connect and have the opportunity to learn from elders in the community. Likewise, if anyone in the community would collaborate or utilize our peaceful space for a youth event or otherwise, please feel free to contact us! Email us at revolu@resistenciabooks.com. Remember, esta casa es su casa también.
