Why are dyslexics known for their one weakness when their superpowers are legendary?

It’s like calling Superman a dyskryptoniter to point out that kryptonite is his one weakness but it ignores the fact that he is faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Likewise, dyslexics are known for their one weakness, reading, but it ignores their superpowers in seeing the big picture, creativity, problem solving, simplifying, visual spatial and lateral reasoning and more.

Rebranding dyslexia would help destigmatize it and emphasize its distinctive strengths. This is a job for Superman!
