1) Astra and Stride Collaboration
Astra, a new high-throughput Stargaze L2 rollup, will leverage Celestia and collaborate closely with Stride. All Cosmos tokens on Astra will be automatically liquid-staked via Stride, offering seamless yield generation. Launch expected in early Q4.
2) Settlus Partners with evmOS
Settlus, a Layer 1 blockchain for the creator economy, partners with evmOS to integrate EVM capabilities. This partnership will enable NFT license marketplaces and transparent settlements for creators. Mainnet launch planned for Q4 2024.
3) Cardano Joins the Interchain via IBC
Cardano’s new IBC sidechain connects it to 115+ IBC-enabled blockchains, enhancing interoperability and scalability. This integration fosters seamless data and asset transfers, enriching the interchain ecosystem and expanding opportunities for developers and enterprises
4) Router Chain Mainnet Launching Soon
Router Chain’s mainnet will launch on July 30, 2024. Designed for chain abstraction, it aims to connect over 150 EVM, non-EVM, rollups, and L2/L3 chains. Major integrations include Bitcoin, Solana, and Osmosis. Stay tuned
5) PICA Improvement Proposal Introduces Tokenomics Update
The PICA Improvement Proposal (PIP-1) is live, incorporating community feedback. Key updates include an 80% buy-back-and-burn of IBC revenue and enhanced revenue sharing for stakers. The new model aims to strengthen PICA’s value and support the Picasso ecosystem
