Art Therapy №1: Hard Edge. Lots of Style.

My dad had a hard edge and a lot of style. From the mod squad days to the courtroom days I grew up around the suits, the guns, the Cadillacs, the paisley, and the penmanship. He hated school but loved his school colors red and black. I grabbed the colors, tried to visualize his dynamic presence and worked outward with less and less controlled materials. Just getting it out felt like relief. I think my worst fear is that these parts of him will fade.
