Big news! A freight truck just delivered 3 pressurized tanks of atmospheric carbon dioxide to our door.

We’re officially the first customer of Carbon Engineering’s direct air capture machine! Carbon Engineering is a leader in direct air capture technology, recently featured on HBO’s VICE show.

So what are we doing with 60 kilograms of atmospheric carbon dioxide?

As you know, there’s too much extra carbon dioxide in the air. That’s a massive opportunity to discover new markets for storing carbon dioxide economically.

We can make rocks and aggregates using this gas (more “air carbon” planters!). Biology has a role to play too, so we’ll explore bio-engineering at the BioCurious lab where the tanks are stored. Oh and here’s a fun one — a Bay Area brewery wants to carbonate the first “carbon negative” batch of beer.
