What’s this? A prototype to suck up carbon dioxide from your home’s fireplace.

It’s built by a team of undergraduate engineers at the University of Maryland as part of the “Design for Sustainability” course. With Matthew as their guide, the team of 3 explored the lean startup process over 8 weeks. They researched carbon market opportunities, learned about ecosystem services, and prototyped new ideas.

Great working with you, Reed, Tim, David, Professor Arul, and “Professor Eshed”.

Now we’re looking for our next student group for the spring semester 2019…

Do you know a professor interested in air mining for a student project?

Cheers,
Tito
