Announcement | Participate in Synthetix (formerly Havven) EOS launch using imToken
Every holder of the SNX token in Ethereum (SNXeth) is eligible to receive the corresponding SNX EOS token (SNXeos). Follow the guideline below to take part.
Similar to other stable coins, Synthetix aims to bring stability to token holders using DApps or holding value. As Synthetix has been launching on Ethereum first, they are now aiming to launch on EOSIO soon. After the launch on EOS, Synthetix will be available on both Ethereum and on EOSIO.
How do I participate in the EOS launch?
Synthetix will launch on EOSIO soon, and as part of this launch Synthetix is offering 50% of all SNXeos tokens to existing SNXeth holders! The number of tokens you are able to receive is determined by the second snapshot of your SNXeth balances on December 20.
Your account is eligible for SNXeos only if the balance meets a minimum requirement of 1000 SNX at the time of the snapshot. Make sure to hold your SNX in a wallet such as imToken instead of an exchange wallets, as your SNX tokens may not be registered during the snapshot.
- There is a minimum number of 1000 SNXeth required to participate;
- You will have six months to provide an EOS wallet address in which you wish to receive your SNXeos. Synthetix will provide a DApp where you can sign a transaction from the ETH wallet that contains the SNXeth with your EOS wallet address as part of the transaction. This DApp will be available on imToken after the second snapshot.
- All SNXeos in this distribution will be escrowed for six months from the time of distribution, with monthly vesting for the next six months, i.e. each month, 16.67% of tokens will be released.
